Harbor Half Marathon & Relay

The 2011 Harbor Half Marathon was a great success. We would like to say thank you to Valero for returning as the title sponsor as well as the rest of our sponsors who supported the race listed below.  Volunteers lined the streets from Whataburger Field, Corpus Christi Beach and the hike and bike trail at Indian Point Pier to cheer on the participants and keep them safe.  The committee hopes that everyone had a great time running this unique course over the Harbor Bridge and we will see you back again next year.

With approximately 500 participants, the 2011 Kids Marathon was also a great success.  A great big thanks to Driscoll Children's Hospital and The Mayor's Fitness Council for their title sponsorship and for encouraging local kids to lead healthy lives by eating nutritious food and participating in physical activity.  Most of the participating students had ran 25 miles prior to the 1.2 race and completed their “marathon” on race day.
